Worlds Within

This print is of an acrylic painting from a series of water-inspired work.

Inspired by a sunset over water in Majorca, the reflections of nearby trees with their fallen leaves floating on the surface of the water, are the starting point. As I gradually built layers and then stepped back to take it in, areas seemed to take on new life. Estuaries, oceans, land masses emerged with clouds floating above. A planet, a microcosm - a whole world within this small space. The more closely I observe nature, the more I realise how interconnected it is, and we are, within it. My own thoughts and emotions (my inner world) as I spent time on this piece are inevitably entwined and have influenced its outcome. The title 'Worlds Within' seemed to say it well.

Prints up to A4 in size are sent flat packed and prints larger than A4 are sent rolled in a tube. All prints are protected with acid free sheets.
